Buru Energy is having a capital raising. I have had these shares for over five years, and they show no signs of going anywhere. I can buy them on the market for 2 cents less today. I’ve had some difficulty getting any information as to how this company is going. My hopes for a big rise in 5 yrs or so, which is why I bought them, are fading. Can you share some information?
A: Buru Energy is not a company that I follow closely, and I didn’t appreciate that the share subscription offer closed on 17 October.
According to the news today, they raised $3.0m from the SPP (were expecting up to $12m), taking the capital raise in total to $31.1m.
I am not sure whether this is good news or not – the analysts continue to like the stock.
According to FN Arena, it carries the highest sentiment indicator at +1.0 (range -1.0 most negative to +1.0 most positive), with a consensus target price of $1.54.
