LYC – LYNAS CORPORATION – last traded at 60.5 cents

Lynas shares will resume trading on Wednesday morning after making a statement to downplay fears about radioactive residue from its rare earths plant in Malaysia.

NAB – NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK – up 12 cents at $24.70

A hearing will be held in Victoria’s Supreme Court on Wednesday to finalise National Australia Bank’s settlement of a class action brought by shareholders.

SXL – SOUTHERN CROSS MEDIA – up three cents, or 2.9 per cent, at $1.07

Southern Cross Media Group said it resume advertising on Sydney radio station 2DayFM but donate the profits following a backlash over a prank call to a London hospital.

WPL – WOODSIDE PETROLEUM – down three cents, at $33.90

Woodside Petroleum has warned that further cost blowouts in the oil and gas industry could jeopardise future long-term investment.
