Share market ends day higher

The share market has closed higher, with the resources sector boosted by commodity price rises.

At 1615 AEDT on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 32.7 points, or 0.61 per cent, at 5,356.8, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 34.2 points, or 0.64 per cent, at 5,358.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was up 17 points at 5,331, with 12,621 contracts traded.
