The Australian share market is higher, following a strong lead from Wall Street last week.

At 1015 AEDT on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 21.5 points, or 0.4 per cent, at 5,416.2, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 20.7 points, or 0.39 per cent, at 5,390.2.

On the ASX 24, the September share price index futures contract was up 12 points at 5379 with 1,550 contracts traded.
