Aust shares open higher

The Australian share market is higher led the big miners BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto.

At 1015 AEDT on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 13.4 points, or 0.29 per cent, at 4,661.4, while the broader All Ordinaries index rose 13.6 points, or 0.29 per cent, at 4,675.0.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was UP 15 points at 4,643 with 4,681 contracts traded.
