Aust shares open higher

The Australian share market has opened higher due to gains by mining and energy stocks.

At 1020 AEDT on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 11.4 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 4,635, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 10.2 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 4,645.4.

On the ASX 24, the March share price index futures contract was up 25 points at 4,617 with 4,222 contracts traded.
