I have some carry-forward concessional contributions available to me and my super balance is less than $500k. Is there anything I need to do other than make the additional contributions?

I have some carry-forward concessional contributions available to me and my super balance is less than $500k. I am planning to utilise these this financial year. Is there anything I need to do other than make the additional contributions?  Thanks.Do I need to notify the ATO or my super fund, or does this just get worked out at the end of the year by the ATO?

With the likelihood of an off market buyback, would it be in my interests to sell my CBA shares into that?

I received shares in CBA from the demutualisation of Colonial many many years ago. I have left them in the bottom drawer to grow substantially with dividend reinvestment. With the likelihood of an off market buyback, it could be in my interests to sell them into that, as I have retired and only have my super pension as income nowadays (and CBA dividends) Where will I find records of the cost base and dividend reinvestment prices so I can determine capital gain? The capital gain is still likely to be much less than selling them on market. Is there any handy resource to help with this? Thank you for your consideration.

Assuming a future delisting of the CDI’s, do my shares automatically convert to Nasdaq listed shares or must I sell out (and pay high capital gains tax)? And 2) Should I only accept Nasdaq listed Square shares?

I aim to accept Square asx listed cdi shares for my Afterpay shares. However, Adam Dawes (Switzer interview) suggested Square might withdraw the cdi’s after a couple of years as Square is largley a USA company. So 1) Assuming a future delisting of the CDI’s, do my shares automatically convert to Nasdaq listed shares or must I sell out (and pay high capital gains tax)? And 2) Should I only accept Nasdaq listed Square shares?
