Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange on Wednesday, April 1:

AAD – ARDENT LEISURE – up four cents, or 1.8 per cent, at $2.24

Theme park owner Ardent Leisure has no plans to hold an extraordinary shareholder meeting over the appointment of magazine editor Deborah Thomas as its new boss.

BKL – BLACKMORES – up $5.53, or 11.3 per cent, at $54.55

Shares in Blackmores have leapt after a healthy lift in profit guidance from the vitamins and nutritional supplements maker.

FXJ – FAIRFAX MEDIA – up two cents, or 2.1 per cent, at 95.5 cents

Fairfax Media’s real estate advertising business Domain has achieved a 56 per cent increase in revenue in the first few months of 2015.

MNS – MAGNIS RESOURCES – up two cents, or 8.7 per cent, at 25 cents

Shares in graphite miner Magnis Resources have jumped after it secured a $US150 million funding deal with its Chinese partner.

OLV – OTHERLEVELS – up 3.5 cents, or 17.5 per cent, at 23.5

Shares in mobile marketing business OtherLevels surged on their first day on the market.

TCH – TOUCHCORP – up 15 cents, or 10.7 per cent, at $1.55

A technology company behind software used in cash registers and mobile payments has enjoyed a strong share market debut.

TWE – TREASURY WINE ESTATES – down four cents, or 0.8 per cent, at $5.12

Jobs are expected to be lost as Treasury Wine Estates closes a wine packaging business and sells four wineries and vineyards in Australia and the United States.
