The Australian share market has closed higher, with gains across all sectors.

At the close on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 88.5 points, or 1.51 per cent, higher at 5,933.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 86.5 points, or 1.49 per cent, at 5,906.8, according to preliminary figures.

On the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was 92 points higher at 5,924, with 29,081 contracts traded.
